3/24/2005 Dory and I are happy to be home from the hospital after she gave birth to our son Bryce Edward Schrader on Tuesday March 22nd at 10:19pm. I think that it was quite the experience for both of us. Last night he kept us up for the first part of the night but then slept for about four hours at a time for the rest of the night. I'm functioning on about half my brain as the other half is trying to figure out what happend to sleeping through the night.

Bryce was 8 lbs 8.1 oz and 20 inches long at birth. I had a bit of a scare watching the pediatrician in the room handle him like a football as he was toweled off, his throat suctioned out and then stimulated to cry for the first time.
