1/25/2006 I guess that I took a bit of a hiatus from doing phutu for this last month. It's not that I haven't wanted to do it, or even that I haven't had any photos, as much as it is that I find myself so busy with other things. Bryce and I are plugging along in our day-to-day events. I have continued working out a few times a week to strengthen my legs for this coming summer when I plan to do more hiking. Bryce has fun at the kids' club where he gets to play with other kids and a lot of toys that we don't have at home.
I have to say that I have been pretty pleased with things of late. Bryce is growing like a beanstalk and is climbing our stairs and walking while holding onto his wagon. Running around keeping him out of things has become a full-time occupation. But even so, I have been finding time to do small bonsai things and a lot of other things. Dory and Brian gave me a gift certificate for classes at the Jewish Community Center which start in late February, but I got a head start thanks to a guy named Ron from the bonsai club. He has a full pottery studio in his basement and has invited me over to make bonsai pots a few times. I'm addicted already, I look forward to going to the JCC and back to Ron's. While we were there last time Bryce and I made some hand and foot imprints in clay. Then Bryce got to play with some toys while I made some bonsai pots.
Photo research has been keeping me busy as well. I have four projects going at the moment which is making things a bit confusing. I have to make sure that I don't send things to the wrong author or contact. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to do any photo research while Bryce is awake of late so I am left doing it after he goes to bed at night. I feel like I'm kinda falling behind, but I'll keep going anyway.
